Not One Win this Weekend....

Vivi & I went to St Peter, MN this weekend for a dog show.  We didn't win one day this weekend...instead we won TWO days!!  Woo hoo!!  Was NOT expecting that at all!  I've seen others do it & been in awe...this weekend, I'm not in awe, but in shock!
Vivi now has 12 points & that means she only needs 1 more major (a major is a show worth 3-5 points) to get her AKC Championship!  Majors are not always easy to find locally, so we'll be doing some traveling--Fargo this weekend--paws crossed everybully!!

At the show we visited our friend Hank & his momma Corrine.  Hank is very handsome & has done some modeling for all our favorite store (Target of course).  The last couple years he's been on some of the Halloween costume packaging.  He's also on some 3M packaging...he's so cute!
I LOVE his paws!

When we stand ringside, Vivi often will do this:
She's been doing that since she was a puppy when we went to class.  I think it's sweet!  Like, "she's my momma!"  hahaha

The bullies got McDonald's hamburgers & fries to celebrate Vivi's wins & they also got these stuffies from Chuck & Don's.  Lots of celebrating going on here!!

Howie & I decided to go for a walk Saturday night.  He was READY to GO!!
Doc enjoyed all the nice weather we had....well the nice weather in between all the rain anyway!
Hope you all had a great weekend too!!

Stay Cool Everybully!!!

I keep having a hard time believing Memorial Weekend is THIS upcoming weekend!!  How did the start of summer happen so fast?  Not that I'm complaining of course, I love me some summer, but I think because we didn't have a "real" winter--which of course I'm NOT EVER going to complain about, it just doesn't feel like it should be the end of May already!!  Does that makes sense??

We've already had weather warm enough to have the A/C on!!  Crazy!!  (But of course I'm NOT complaining!)  :0)  Doc LOVES the warm weather/sun & could lay there all day, just like me.  Vivi & Howie think it's nice, but more for eating grass...ugg.  As much as they'd rather be outside, we have to limit their time outside because we don't want them to overheat.

Sometimes bullies don't even need a lot of heat to get overheated.  We do a lot to prevent any overheating in our bullies...including making sure they are in their "coolest" Blue Line Bulldogs Designs accessories:
Vivi sporting a cool collar
AND cute panties...but they're for a different kind of "heat!"
Howard lookin' so handsome in his cool collar!
Doc stylin' a cool belly band.
Vivi & Doc sportin' the newest cooling item...
a cool jacket!

My bullies are gonna stay cool all summer & going to be cute at the same time!  They're lucky I can sew huh?!  (I bet that's EXACTLY what they're thinking in all these photos...but they are not overheating!)

What do you use to keep your bullies cool in the heat?  Do you have a cool collar, belly band or jacket for your bullies?  Do they like wearing them?  Whatever you use/do, be sure to stay cool everybully!!

Happy Mother's Day!

**Yes, this is a repost from past year's, but so many of you enjoyed it, I thought I'd blogcheat & post it again!  Happy Mother's Day!**

Before I was a Dog Mom:
I made and ate hot meals without being watched every second.
I had unstained, unfurred clothes.
I had quiet conversations on the phone,
even if the doorbell rang.
Before I was a Dog Mom:
I slept as late as I wanted
And never worried about how late I got to bed
or if I could get into my bed.
Before I was a Dog Mom:
I never stepped on or tripped over body parts.
I didn’t know what a bully stick was and never touched an esophagus.

Before I was a Dog Mom:
I had never been peed on
Pooped on
Drooled on
Chewed on
Or pinched by puppy teeth.
Before I was a Dog Mom:
I slept all night without sharing
the covers or pillow.
Before I was a Dog Mom:
I never looked into big, soulful eyes and cried.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces
when I couldn’t stop a hurt.
I never knew something so furry and four-legged
could affect my heart so deeply.

Before I was a Dog Mom:
I had never held a sleeping puppy
just because I couldn’t put it down.
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night
every 10 minutes to make sure all was well.
I didn’t know how warm it feels inside
to feed a hungry puppy.
I didn’t know that something so small
could make me feel so important.
Before I was a Dog Mom:
I had never known the warmth,
the joy,
the love,
the heartache,
the wonderment
or the satisfaction of being
A Dog Mom
