It's SUMMER!!!!!!

Summer, Summer, Summertimmmmmeee!!!!  Time to sit back & unwind!!  Everyone sing with me!!!  Ahhh the great songs of the '90s...brings me back!

I love me some summer...summer sun, summer warmth, summer = NO SNOW!!!!  We've been hanging out a lot, except for all the mosquitoes....jeez they're bad this year!

Summer also brings on hot bulldogs...is your bulldog ready for summer??  I have a few cool collars ready-to-ship!!  $25 includes shipping to US!!  (Sorry, no special orders at this price.)

They are made out of a shammylike material that you keep wet & can fill with ice or ice packs to help keep your bully cool!

I've even had requests from humans for these collars!!  After a hot day working in the garden or playing baseball, nothing cools you off faster!!!

So if you're interested, just send me an email at jen at bluelinebulldogs dot com & I'll send you photos of those I have left!

So stay cool this summer friends...whether by cool collar or by AC (Doc's preference)!

We've Missed You Too!!!

Ok, seriously...how the hell is it September?!  Sorry to be so blunt about it, but how fast time goes by makes me sad.  I love summer--especially this summer!!  Record setting heat anyone??  The leaves are already coming down in our yard!!!  Noooo!!!  Maybe it's only because it's been so dry--yes, yes, I'm in denial!

This summer sewing & dog shows have kept me very busy!  With the heat I've had a lot of orders for the cool collars I make & this year I started making cool jackets too.
They have been very popular!  I was at a show in June & I looked around & there were 7 dogs with my products on!  How "cool" is that?!  I have had a lot of people ask if they work....well, I can tell you first hand that yes!  They worked on Doc!  Doc had an incident one hot night & he really scared me (panting, wouldn't move, wouldn't drink water) & when we got him inside, I immediately grabbed the jacket, ran it under cold water & put the jacket on him & within minutes he was no longer panting!!!  I was shocked how fast it worked on him!

Here is a photo from the show Vivi & I were at last weekend in Lake Elmo, MN.  Thanks Kym for the photo!  We didn't do anything, but she sure is cute isn't she??
Let's see, what else to tell you....hmmm...Howie decided the other day to take a nap with a piggy...what a cutie!
Doc can't believe summer is over either!!  He's just rolling around thinking about it!

Law sends kitty prayers to all of you!
And Pippa sends kisses...errr...bites!
We all hope your summer went as well as yours & you enjoyed yourselves!!

Stay Cool Everybully!!!

I keep having a hard time believing Memorial Weekend is THIS upcoming weekend!!  How did the start of summer happen so fast?  Not that I'm complaining of course, I love me some summer, but I think because we didn't have a "real" winter--which of course I'm NOT EVER going to complain about, it just doesn't feel like it should be the end of May already!!  Does that makes sense??

We've already had weather warm enough to have the A/C on!!  Crazy!!  (But of course I'm NOT complaining!)  :0)  Doc LOVES the warm weather/sun & could lay there all day, just like me.  Vivi & Howie think it's nice, but more for eating grass...ugg.  As much as they'd rather be outside, we have to limit their time outside because we don't want them to overheat.

Sometimes bullies don't even need a lot of heat to get overheated.  We do a lot to prevent any overheating in our bullies...including making sure they are in their "coolest" Blue Line Bulldogs Designs accessories:
Vivi sporting a cool collar
AND cute panties...but they're for a different kind of "heat!"
Howard lookin' so handsome in his cool collar!
Doc stylin' a cool belly band.
Vivi & Doc sportin' the newest cooling item...
a cool jacket!

My bullies are gonna stay cool all summer & going to be cute at the same time!  They're lucky I can sew huh?!  (I bet that's EXACTLY what they're thinking in all these photos...but they are not overheating!)

What do you use to keep your bullies cool in the heat?  Do you have a cool collar, belly band or jacket for your bullies?  Do they like wearing them?  Whatever you use/do, be sure to stay cool everybully!!
