Weekend Recap

Ahhh...one guess at what I did this weekend??

If you guessed dog show, you're correct.  Love my after-show naps, especially when I have my nap buddies keeping me company.  Vivi & I had some early mornings to drive to Iowa this weekend & the drive was nice & uneventful.  We don't have anything more to report on the show though...so the highlight was this nap & some good breakfasts w/great bulldoggers!

This week it got colder again in MN.  Boo!  Yesterday morning it was 40 degrees as I was driving to Iowa...no good.  The week before it was in the mid-to-upper 80s...it was heavenly.  I took these photos last week...glad I did, the majority of the leaves are now at the compost site (thanks Steve!).  The tree was really pretty this year!

This weekend also brought out some tears.  Two good friends lost their doggies to the rainbow bridge.  My heart aches for them both & their losses remind me of how thankful I am for any time with my bullies & kitties and I will enjoy every second I have with them.

Monday already? REALLY??

Wow...this weekend flew by & while I know I didn't just sit around & do nothing, I certainly feel like I did NOT get a lot accomplished!  So much on my list of things to get done...and not one crossed off...I hate that.  Oh well, what can you do?  I was lucky enough to spend the entire weekend with Steve, some friends & of course my bullies!!  Not a bad weekend in the least!!

Howie was certainly happy to have me home this weekend!  So happy he laughed & laughed & laughed!!

Hope you all had a great weekend & here's to a more productive week...gotta get at least ONE thing off that list!

A very productive weekend!

What a beautiful & very warm weekend we had! It was over 60 both days & of course I was thrilled!! While Saturday was spent w/friends during the day & my bullies at night..it was bath night, Sunday was spent mostly outside!


Steve had the unlucky job of cleaning out the gutters & had some help with the yard work he did!

I took advantage of the weather by cleaning the windows (both inside & out), cut bully nails with Steve's help, & then when Steve went to work I cleaned a bit inside & then went to the grocery store.

I, too, had some help putting the groceries away. Thanks guys!

Overall, a very fun & productive weekend! I love it when that happens! Hope all of your weekends were fun &/or productive too!
